Hi, there. Welcome to my homepage!
I am a graduate student at MIT and a Research Assistant in the Device Research Laboratory, working with Prof. Gang Chen and Prof. Evelyn N. Wang. The scope of my research is aimed at pushing the boundaries of heat transfer physics so as to develop more efficient energy/water-harvesting devices. Currently, I am interested in,
1) fundamnetal heat and mass transfer characterization,
2) designing sorption-based atmospheric water harvesting devices, and
3) prototyping water desalination devices.
I received my Bachelor's degrees from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Purdue University. My undergraduate research was primarily supervised by Prof. Xiulin Ruan on phonon (quantization of lattice vibrations) transport across interfaces. I was also very fortunate to do research under the guidance of Prof. Liang Pan and Prof. Xianfan Xu at that time.
